Obituary: Mary Ann Loeschner

Mary Ann Loeschner passed away Nov. 4, 2011 in Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach, FL. Mary Ann and her husband of 57 years, Robert, were Levittown residents from 1959 to 1997. They moved to Ft. Pierce, FL, in 1997.

Mary Ann was very active in St. Bernard’s Parish. She held several offices in the Catholic Daughters of America, ultimately attaining the position of District Deputy. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and volunteered for many other activities in the parish. She held part time positions at the Levittown Library and St. Bernard’s Rectory.

Mary Ann is also survived by her daughters, Susan Coffey (Bruce) of Amityville, Jean Marie Panzica (John) of Port Jefferson Station, and her son Richard Loeschner (Annemarie) of Oakdale. Her son Steven preceded her in death in 1991. She also has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Bernard’s RC Church at 10 a.m. on Dec. 17, 2011. She will be interred in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
