Suozzi Calls for Dramatic Election Day Reform
In an effort to rationalize the current "crazy quilt" of election days, Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi has proposed state legislation to dramatically consolidate special district election dates in Nassau County from the current 23 days in nine separate months to two - general election day in November and school board/budget vote day in May.

The Town of North Hempstead recently honored three of Manhasset High School's track and field stars -Kadeem Howell, Patricia McNish and Jasmine Blocker - for their outstanding athletic accomplishments.

Manhasset Boys Track County Champions
Three seniors, one junior and one sophomore had outstanding county and state qualifier track championship meets. One senior was not a surprise - Kadeem Howell won long jump (22'7") and triple jump (47'2") for county championships and advanced to New York State meet in Buffalo on June 12 - 14.
