On Wednesday May 1, The Manhasset Proponents for School Accountability (MPSA) will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. in the Manhasset library to discuss the real estate tax increase. The topics covered include the struggle for an effective tax cap, the role of unions in Manhasset education, the role of the board of education, and repercussions of the tax increase. Manhasset Art Association Show

Manhasset Art Association will host “The Spring Show” at Jericho Public Library, One Merry Lane, Jericho, New York 11753. The exhibit will feature a variety of media, including photography.  A reception that is open to the public is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2013 between the hours of  2-4 p.m. Awards for Best in Show, Excellence and Merit and Honorable Mention certificates will be issued. The Women’s Club of The Congregational Church of Manhasset will hold its annual Spring Luncheon at noon in the church’s North Lounge.
