America the Beautiful Exhibit

The Manhasset Public Library along with its Art Advisory Committee and Exhibitions Director Amy Finkston are pleased to announce a new exhibit “America the Beautiful” in the Community Room Art Gallery. “America the Beautiful” is a song of patriotism, and the exhibit shows our democracy in a patriotic manner. Through photographs of the country’s natural beauties and in paintings and mixed media art, interpretations of what America means to each artist will be displayed. Smaller scale images on the theme continue on all levels of the library. The show coincides with the celebration of our 4th of July holiday, and the season when many people go on vacation and travel our great land. Visitors will enjoy the exhibition while marveling at its diversity. The exhibit will run through Friday, August 2, at 30 Onderdonk Ave., Manhasset. For gallery viewing hours, call the library at 516-627-2300.
