The Manhasset SCA Fair, the largest fundraising event of the year for the SCA. is set for Saturday, May 4 at the Munsey Park School and will be co-chaired by Daniela Buchholz and Dianne Tolentino.
The fair will offer many exciting attractions. Sample a selection of foods at the International Food Tent and visit the SCA Grill courtyard, the Old Fashioned Candy booth and the SCA Bakery booth. You can also shop the wide variety of wares offered by the vendors under the Big Tent, scale a rock climbing wall and have tons of fun enjoying face painting (new this year), the dunk tank and pie throwing.
The SCA Fair, in conjunction with Planet Manhasset, is committed to going green. Recycling bins will be located throughout the grounds, a continuation of a recycling program started in 2008.
Unlimited Ride All Day Advance tickets are only available to purchase in advance and are not available the day of the fair. Ride all day for $35 per person or buy two tickets for $65. These Unlimited Ride Advance Sale Tickets are exchanged for bracelets on the day of the fair at the Bracelet Exchange Booth. Once you receive your bracelet, you may ride any ride as many times as you wish. Advance tickets ordered by mail are due by Wednesday, April 24 and must be picked up at Victoria Parisi’s home at 139 Kensett Road on Friday, May 3, between 1–7 p.m. Advance Ticket Sales forms can be found at www.manhassetsca.org. Unlimited Ride Advance Sale Tickets can only be purchased by mail or in person at Raindew (465 Plandome Road) on the following days:

The grand raffle prize for the 2013 SCA Fair is a $1,000 gift card donated by the Americana Manhasset. Other top prizes include: one week of tennis camp, donated by Sportime, Roslyn; a beautiful, color-block suede leather tote, donated by Elie Tahari International; a semester of classes, donated by Unlimited Sports in Port Washington; a brown suede handbag, donated by Theory; a Day of Beauty, donated by DeLis Salon in Manhasset; a $250 gift certificate, donated by Limani Restaurant of Roslyn; a package of 10 classes, donated by The Fitness Loft of Manhasset (2 available); a week of soccer camp and soccer basket, donated by Manhasset Soccer Club; a week of Art Camp, donated by Abrakadoodle of Roslyn (2 available); and a $50 gift certificate and plush bear, donated by Matty’s Toy Stop.
Grand Raffle tickets will be available to purchase during the Advance Ticket sales on Wednesday, April 24 and Saturday, April 27 between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Raindew (465 Plandome Road). You can also purchase tickets for the Grand Raffle at the SCA Grand Raffle booth during the Fair. Raffles cost $5 or buy a booklet of 6 raffles for $25. The Manhasset SCA is accepting donations of books, DVD’s, music CD’s, and electronic video games on Thursday, May 2, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. under the Big Tent at Munsey Park field. The SCA appreciates you checking your items to confirm they are in working condition before bringing them to their drop-off location. Donations for Attic Treasures, Sports & Garden and Toys will be on Friday, May 3, from 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. under the Big Tent at the Munsey Park field. The SCA will gladly accept gently used, clean, unbroken and saleable pieces. Please no electronics, computers, baby items, skis, lawn mowers, exercise equipment or stuffed animals.
