The Munsey Park first-graders celebrated the 100th Day of School on Friday, March 1 in a true old - fashioned style. The students dressed as they thought they would look at age 100. Costumes included gray hair, glasses and canes. Girls were adorned with pearls, jewelry, long skirts, shawls, hats, pocketbooks and knee-high stockings. Boys used suspenders, mustaches, hats, sport jackets and bowties to help create their look. All teachers participated and dressed up, too. The 100-Day theme continued throughout the day with math, reading, writing and art activities. Children enjoyed a 100 - Day breakfast with a pretzel log and a mini bagel making the 1-0-0.
The celebration created fun memories for all.
