The 2013 Nassau County Lacrosse Awards Dinner were held at Crest Hollow Country Club. Several Manhasset’s lacrosse players were honored. This year Manhasset’s varsity lacrosse team had a very successful season led by Coach Cherry and assistants Mike Christy and Blake Miller. The team was undefeated conference champions. They were runner up in the county championship game and winners of the annual Woodstick Classic.
The team also had victories against other prominent teams during the regular season. The All-County Mention award was given to James Clark and Brian Barry.; James Farrel, Kevin Overlander, Michael Fahey, Dylan Meyer and Tom Lavelle were named All-County. The All-American award was presented to Philip Boukas. As is customary, most Manhasset players go on to play lacrosse at DI and DIII college programs.
