The Plainedge High School Girls Varsity Softball team went 19-0 this season and won the Conference Championship under the guidance of first year coaches Jason McGowan and Jennifer Sinacore.

"The Girls Varsity Softball team had an outstanding season," said Jamie LaBelle, Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics at Plainedge. "We are very proud of the team and couldn't have asked for a better finish to Coach McGowan and Coach Sinacore's first year of coaching."

At the recent Athletic Awards Dinner, Theresa Magnani, Michele Daubman and Tina Zollo were awarded All-County honors, Samantha Daubman and Kara Brandofino were awarded All-Conference honors and Coach McGowan received the Conference coach of the year award.
