Dig into Summer Reading

The Plainedge Public Library, 1060 Hicksville Rd. in North Massapequa, is hosting a summer reading club for children entering grades 2 through 5 this September. The club runs from July 9 through August 1 and children come to the library once a week for reporting, stickers and prizes. The library will provide all materials the first week of the program. This is not a drop-off program. Reporting for stickers and prizes will take 5 to 10 minutes, after which each child will be brought back to their adult/parent. This camp is designed for students entering 1st through 7th grade interested in learning wrestling or becoming a better wrestler. We will separate wrestlers by age and experience. The camp takes place at Seaford Middle School at 3940 Sunset Ave. at 9 a.m. You do not have to be a Seaford resident to attend. The cost is $150 if registered by July 8; $175 if registered after.
