We definitely cannot complain about the mild winter of 2012.
The preparations for our Annual Community Festival are well under way. It will take place Memorial Day weekend starting, Friday, May 25 through Sunday, May 27. The festival will be held at the Massapequa Railroad parking lot M5 located at Sunrise Highway and Broadway. Sponsors, craft food vendor and volunteers are needed. Call the office at 541-1443 for details.
On March 31, Massapequa Cares will be visiting Northport Veterans Hospital to donate articles of clothing; produce a volunteer USO-type show and provide refreshments for the veterans. If anyone would like to volunteer their time to this event or would like to make a donation, they should call William Colfer at Massapequa Cares, 798-0244.
We would like to thank Judy Svendsen of the Bristal Assisted Living in Massapequa for hosting a very enjoyable networking night. Anyone interested in hosting a networking night can call the office for details.

Superintendent of Massapequa Schools Charles Sulc and Deputy Seperintendent Alan Adcock will be discussing the Massapequa School budget for 2012-2013.
