The students and faculty of Robert Seaman Elementary School continue to support Long Beach’s West Elementary School, months after Hurricane Sandy destroyed West’s first floor. Since the 2012 storm, West has been sharing space at East Elementary and are now at Lindell School. They are still waiting for their home school’s repairs and renovations to be completed.
West Elementary School Principal Sandra Schneider was welcomed by the Seaman family and presented with supplies and donations which included books, classroom supplies, gift cards for Lowe’s, Home Depot, Target of over $4,000. The Peer Leaders of Robert Seaman Elementary organized the bounty of supplies donated by Seaman families and presented a short presentation to show their love.
