The Massapequa Public School District is offering Camp Invention, a science camp for students entering grades 1-6 during the week of August 10-14 at Massapequa High School – Ames Campus.
During last year’s engaging week, students created a community on Mars, and worked collaboratively to devise unique inventions for the I Can Invent session of the program.
This year, students will design a “Land Sled X-treme,” participate in a Viking Treasure Trek, create Comic Book Science and build Fantasy Inventions and Complicated Machines.
For registration and more information call the Long Island Science Center at 631-208-8000, or visit www.campinvention.org. (800-968-4332).
