Kellenberg Honors Massapequans

Massapequa athletes recently received honors from their coaches at Kellenberg Memorial High School.

Each season, the coaches of all of the Kellenberg teams choose one member of their team who stands out as an athlete that has worked hard to improve themselves in their chosen sport.

Massapequa resident and Kellenberg freshman, Jessie Brower was awarded the Most Improved Player award for the Kellenberg Junior Varsity Girls Basketball team. Brower‘s effort over the course of the Junior Varsity Girls Basketball season has set her apart as an athlete worthy of recognition for her improvement.

Kaitlyn Stackpole, a Massapequan and Kellenberg senior, was awarded the Most Improved Player award for the Kellenberg Varsity Girls Basketball team.

Massapequa resident and Kellenberg freshman, Kelsey McCartney was awarded the Most Improved Player award for the Kellenberg Freshman Girls Winter Track team.

Massapequa resident and Kellenberg Senior, Michael Manukian has been awarded the Commitment Award for his outstanding effort and devotion to the Boys Bowling team. Each season coaches of Kellenberg sports pick one player from their team who has demonstrated remarkable commitment to the team through their hard work at practice and in competition.

Josh Newman, a Massapequan and Kellenberg sophomore, has been awarded the Commitment Award for his outstanding effort and devotion to the Varsity Wrestling team.
