Henry Dermigny of Jamesport died Jan. 21 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson. He was 82-years-old.

Born Dec. 15, 1930, in Hempstead to Henry and Anne Dermigny, he had worked as a heavy-equipment operator in the Village of Mineola.

William Kist, 93, a Mineola resident over 89 years, former owner of Knott’s Pharmacy and longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Williston Park passed away on March 2 in Tampa, FL.  Loving husband of the late Margaret “Peggy,” dear father of Peggy Ruhnke, William A. Jr., James & the late Henry Kist.  Father-in-law of Kevin, Pam, Alicia and Barbara.  Also survived by 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Notice of memorial service at a later date.

Gladys G. Ernst, 92, a resident at Willow Valley, PA and formerly of Mineola, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Arbor View at Willow Valley, Lancaster, PA.  She was married to George E. Ernst for over 68 years.  George died on October 16, 2011.

Born March 2, 1920, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd M. and Amy S. (Thomas) Trafford.
