John C. Tringali, 89, of Duluth, GA, formerly of Mineola, died on Aug. 17, 2011. Husband of Irene. Father of Dorothy Serio ( Robert) and Joanne Snopkowski. Grandfather of Christopher J. Cestaro, Geoffery V. Cestaro, Thomas Snopkowski, Michael Weiss, Lisa Renz, Kim Byrne and the late Giro Cestaro III. Great-grandfather of five. He was a retired Nassau County Supreme Court clerk, US Army veteran of WWII, lifetime member of American Legion Post #349, Mineola. Arrangements were made by the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Entombment LI National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, c/o Lisa Renz, 3262 Cestatee Rd., Apt.
