James P. Gibbons, of Mineola, died on July 2, 2010. He was a retired NYPD sergeant. Husband of Suzanne. Father of Deborah Anderson (Gary), Regina Fritsche (David) and Daniel Gibbons (Dawn). Brother of Peter. Grandfather of Cara, Connor, Danielle, Emily, Grace, Matthew and Abigail. Arrangements were made by the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association appreciated.
