The new County Executive Ed Mangano worked at a printing plant in Bethpage when he was a teenager. Before selling the MA to Anton, we printed at that same plant “Photonews.” It’s possible that Grace and I ran into him during the 20 years we printed at that plant.

Jerry Mehlman and I were honored at the Chamber of Commerce’s holiday party. I have been in the organization for 58 years and Jerry for 56 years. Both are past presidents. The affair was a complete surprise to us. Grace was there, of course, as well as our daughter, Sister Annmarie, who came all the way from Washington; our sons, Richard and Tom and their wives, Laurie and Debbie, as well as our oldest granddaughter, Tracey. In addition to Jerry’s wife Muriel and their son, Dr. Raymond and his wife, Debbie were in on the fun. We sincerely thank Chamber president Ray Sikorski and all the members for an unforgettable evening.
