Mineola Mayhem Enjoys Great Season

Written by Donna Duffy Friday, 24 July 2009 00:00

The Mineola Mayhem, the boys U-15 team, ended their season with only one loss to the first place team. Great teamwork was the contributing factor with most boys playing together for the last 10 seasons.

High scorers for the season were Josh Lopes and Justin Sandler, each with 11 goals. A very strong defense, led by goalie Jonathan Klicpera, sweeper Scott Rivera and stopper Luis Pires helped keep the goals against us to only 8, the second lowest in Division IV.

Any boys interested in joining the team, call Lisa Sandler at 294-1864 or George Petrakos at (917) 642-5201 for more information.
