Dylan Bestler, an All-Conference 600-and All County 4x800 meter runner, is a hard-working competitor in the Mineola Track and Field program. He pushes himself to the brink of exhaustion, each and every time he steps foot on the track. He has laser-like focus in pursuit of his ambitious goals during his senior year at Mineola.
Bestler embraces the notion that strong individuals create their own success in life. He views failure not as defeat, but as a cue to change his strategy in order to succeed.
Bestler’s unyielding dedication was the cornerstone of his All-County 4x800 meter relay team last year during the spring track season. This same drive was the vehicle for his success in the classroom, which earned him a place in the National Honor Society.
Bestler is one of the captains this season for winter track. With his natural leadership traits, he is a multi-threat powerhouse in the conferences, county, and state qualifier championship meets.
