Billy Minicozzi called to identify the photo as being behind the Anchor Bank in Oyster Bay. (Anchor Bank was the former bank located in that building.)

John DeJesu has returned to Bayville and Oyster Bay, after 6 weeks in Boca Raton, Florida, is ready to identify photographs in the "Enterprising Pilot" again. "It is behind the Bank of Long Island parking space and you can see part of the Alvin Hutchinson building.

Billy called Thursday and amended his answer: "It's the State Bank of Long Island," he said.

That will make Bob Connors, manager of State Bank of Long Island very happy.

Nicole Tsourovakas said, "It's the Long Island State Bank parking lot in town." She just finished reading My Brother Sam is Dead. "It's a sad book, but that was okay," she said. Nicole attends Vernon, is in sixth grade, and her home room teacher is Mrs. Stella. In sixth grade, she switches classrooms during the day.

"It is the Long Island state bank parking lot," said Stefan Tsourovakas, a student at the Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School. He just started reading Shilo Season. Stefan is in Mr. Seigeleman's third grade class.

Chris Mercadante called and said, "It's the Hutchinson building and the Town of Oyster Bay parking lot facing State Bank of Long Island."

Brian Sirota said, "It's Long Island State Bank parking lot." He is in Mr. Siegelman's class at the Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School.

Lauren Victory called too.

The bank's name has a few glitches as it is reported here, but people know where it is, and that it's a Long Island bank and a State bank even though the order shifts occasionally.
