The coaches of the two girl's lacrosse teams are pleased with the progress they are making as the girls learn the game. Although they have yet to win any games the games have been exciting to watch and to play.
This year is a building year for the 3rd and 4th grade boys lacrosse team. Their skills have improved with each game as they learn what fun this action packed game can be.
The fourth grade boys lacrosse team has played three games and lost only one. The games played have been fast, high scoring and exciting. These boys are playing well and continue working on improving their skills and working as a team.
The 5th and 6th grade boys lacrosse team is undefeated winning all three of the games played, even against some of the strongest teams in the league. The pace of the game at this level is fast so their skills must be fine tuned to accomplish as much as they have this year.
The home field for all of these teams is the Locust Valley High School. Girls play on Saturday afternoons and boys play on Sunday.
