The Aug. 21 story about locomotive #35, potentially leading to a revitalization of downtown OB did not contain, at least in the Internet edition, mention of the prominent role of the Oyster Bay Historical Society in this project.

With the diligent, dedicated devotion of Tom Kuehhas, director of the Historical Society, the Oyster Bay Historical Society has been involved with this project almost since its inception.

When the whistle blows and #35 rolls, or is transported into OB, not only will Walter Karppi be on the platform to wave her in, but Tom Kuehhas and the trustees and members of OBHS will be waving too!
