The Friends Academy Boys Varsity Basketball Team, captained by seniors Kwasi Boah, Bryan Good and Renauld Williams, placed fourth in Conference VI BC and netted a berth in the Conference B playoffs. After concluding a winning season with a record of 12 wins and seven losses, the team lost in the post season to Floral Park. Other highlights included capturing the Wheatley Tournament Championship and Kwasi being named the Most Outstanding Player in the tournament. Kwasi and senior Andrew Rubinstein were named to the All-Conference team and Renauld was named All-County and Most Valuable Player in Conference VI BC.
