How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Village Camera, 128 South Street, Oyster Bay.

"It's the Oyster Bay docks where you unload your boat," said Tommy Wulforst, a student in the sixth grade at the Vernon School. His favorite subject is science; his favorite sport is football and his favorite team is the Jets. Kayvon Mesbah a student at the Vernon School, called to say the mystery picture is "In the Roosevelt Park, at the dock on Oyster Bay Harbor." He mentioned that the area is near the road to Bayville. Right! He is in fourth grade. It is his first year at the Vernon school - the third grade moved with the fourth grade, he explained. His teacher is Miss Cohn. His favorite sport is skiing and he said a good movie to see is Mystery Men, it's funny. Strat Zaferiou said, "It's the boat launching area at the Theodore Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay." He said, "I'm just calling for the fun of it. I don't know how many get them right, but I like looking at the pictures all the time!" Laksa Hedron, a little lady, called to say "It's the dock at the Roosevelt Park." She had some help from someone who was coaching her. She ended by saying "Thank you," and giggled sweetly. The "mystery man" called again and said, "The picture is the docking for small boats in Roosevelt Park at the west end, near the Jakobson Shipyard. He too ended by saying "Thank you," and added "Good night." Billy Minicozzi ID'd the mystery photo as the dock at the Roosevelt Park. He thanked Big Mike for his in-put and added, "I hope the Jets and Giants will meet in the Super Bowl." "It's the dock at Roosevelt Beach, looking toward Shore Road," said Robert Lopez . He is a fisherman and said, "the snappers are out. "I always wanted to try answering the mystery picture," he said happily. He was right about the snappers. Sunday was the annual Town of Oyster Bay Bluefish Tournament co-sponsored by the Oyster Bay Marine Supply. It was a great day. Pictures next week!
