Edward E. Kraemer, a 1950 graduate of Oyster Bay High School, died at his home in Croton-On-Hudson, NY, on Nov. 15, 1999 at the age of 67. Born and raised in Syosset, he was a member of the 1949-50 undefeated NC Open Championship basketball team, coached by Richard F. Crawley. In 1956, Mr. Kraemer married Jean Crawley, a classmate at OBHS and daughter of the famous three-sport coach. During his final weeks, many of Mr. Kraemer's teammates visited him to share memories of their high school days.

Ed Kraemer earned his civil engineering degree and first lieutenant's bars in the Armed Forces Corps of Engineers from Norwich University, VT, in 1955. After military service, the Kraemers moved to Croton-On-Hudson where he became a building contractor known as Kraemer Building Corporation, which continues with his sons as principals.

Mr. Kraemer spent many years in youth volunteer work as a Boy Scout camping leader, Little League coach and Flag Football coach. He was also a founding trustee of the Richard F. Crawley Memorial Foundation, an alumni group that provides yearly scholarships for seniors at OBHS.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Kraemer is survived by his daughter, Dr. Nancy Crocker of Poughkeepsie, NY; his sons, Donald of Hopewell Junction, NJ and Bruce of Holmes, NY and his grandchildren, Alison, Mark and Stephanie Crocker.

A funeral Mass was held on Nov. 18 at the Holy Name of Mary Church and interment was in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Ossining. A reception for family and friends followed at the Kraemer home. John Plumb, of Locust Valley, died on Nov. 29, 1999. Husband of the late Helen. Father of JoAnne and Barbara. Grandfather of Kim, Hope, John, Jaclyn and Brandy. Brother of Edward, Alec, Roger, Violet and Ann. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral Mass at St. Hyacinth RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.

Charles Wolson, of Locust Valley, died on Nov. 30, 1999. Brother of Anne Hollins and Mary McLaughlin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Patrick's Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.

Teresa Caristo, of Locust Valley, died on Dec. 2, 1999. Wife of the late Ralph. Mother of Dominick, Molly O'Brien, Madeline French, Ralph and Robert and the late Rose Dunlap and James. Sister of Louis, Joseph, Dominick, Rose, Victoria and Kate. Grandmother of 21. Great-grandmother of 28. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Mass at St. Patrick's RC Church. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery.

Geraldine Lohrius, of Locust Valley, died on Dec. 5, 1999. Wife of the late Arthur W. Mother of Steven, Alan, Diane Lordi, Kevin, Deborah Riccardi, Brian, Eileen Juliano, James and Charles. Arrangements were made by the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Church. Interment LI National Cemetery. Contributions in her name can be made to Moma's House, 2534 Cedar Swamp Rd., Brookville, NY 11545.
