Once again, we've started our holiday shopping in Oyster Bay. We visited Dodds & Eder to see what was new, with no intention of buying and we ended up with lots of great gifts.

We found a great necklace for "the daughter," a great hostess gift, a secret Santa gift, a must have for our tree, indoor icicle lights and more.

Actually we have been there three times, each time we signed a check for the goodies. It has been fun - and easy.

And we still have more stores to visit: Bay Treasures, Pleasant Valley Gifts and Gallery, the Book Mark, Bridgets, and more. There are also the great new stores in East Norwich. If our success rate keeps at the present level, we will be all finished, and wrapped in a wink.
