Antoinette Addazio identified the photo of the Busy Bee. "It used to belong to my father-in-law, Louis Addazio Sr., many years ago. He bought it at auction in the late 20s. It was originally the estate of Grovner Smith. It encompassed all of Park Avenue to High Street.
At one time my father-in-law was the superintendent of the R.W. Coe estate. When he left there, he had his own landscaping business in Oyster Bay. The men working for him would leave the gates of the estate open and that's why the triangle was formed that the Busy Bee is now on.
Her husband celebrated his 84th birthday yesterday, May 6. "He was remembering the days of going into the big house. My mother-in-law was very nurturing and she always had food ready for people. They have nice memories of the big house," she said.
Billy Minicozzi said, "It's the Busy Bee deli on Berry Hill Road." On a sports note he said the Bayville Firemen's team played against Glenwood Landing won 11-9. They currently have two wins - 3 losses.

Cheryl DeCarlo called to say, "The picture is the gas station on the corner of Berry Hill Road and Lexington Avenue, near the Boys & Girls Club."
Mabel Fitzpatrick said, "I know Berry Hill Road and South Street. It's a gas station and convenience store." Her son Robert has provided mystery pictures for the Pilot and we are hoping for more! Mabel is the president of the DBSC senior advisory board.
Donald Stitt said, "It is the intersection of Berry Hill, Lexington and 106: the Coastal gas station!"
Stephanie Chakiryan said, "It is the beginning of Berry Hill Road across from the Boys and Girls Club!"
