Three stages of live entertainment, food by 20 non-profit groups, three tall ships, 128 arts and craft vendors, and two great contests make up the Oyster Festival: and you and your family are invited to attend. There is no admission fee for this event sponsored by the Rotary Club of Oyster Bay.

New Muttontown Board Trustee
Muttontown Mayor Richard Murcott introduced the newest member of the board, William Floyd-Jones at the Sept. 10 Village Board meeting. Mr. Floyd-Jones took the place vacated by Trustee Tom Treacy, who recently retired from the board.

Tornadoes Swept HBC Tournament
On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Sept. 1, 2 and 3, the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Soccer team won the Huntington Boys Club's Labor Day Weekend Tournament. The Tornadoes are girls born after Aug. 1, 1988 who are starting their fifth year of playing travel soccer for the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Soccer Club.
