Donald J. Rassiger Sr., of East Norwich, died on Oct. 6, 2001. Husband of Carolyn. Father of Donald Jr. (Ellen), Todd and Kristen. Brother of Leonard. He was an incredible man who fought cancer with courage and dignity. He was loved by all who knew him. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Funeral Mass at St. Paul the Apostle RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation of Greater NY in his name.

Joseph B. Maimone, 88, of Bayville, died peacefully on Oct. 16, 2001. Husband of Renata. Father of Jeffrey (Hung) and Mark (Margaretha). Grandfather of Lynne, Andrea and Max. Brother of Marian Martino. A private cremation will be followed by a Memorial Celebration at Brookville Country Club, Chicken Valley Rd., Brookville on Oct. 26 from 7 to 10 p.m. with a service at 8 p.m. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home.
