Veterans Keep Memories Alive
Oyster Bay veterans have not forgotten their comrades in arms. They continue to tell their stories and honor the memories of those who have fought and died for this country. Oyster Bay Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8033 visited Oyster Bay High School to share memories of their wartime experiences on Nov. 9, and on Nov. 11 held memorial ceremonies.

Holiday Sharing Program Time
This year again, the community responded to the annual CSAC Holiday Sharing Program. CSAC, the Community Social Action Committee, is a committee of the Interreligious and Human Needs Council of North Oyster Bay and runs the annual holiday sharing program comprised of the Thanksgiving dinner project and the Toy Drive. On Tuesday, Nov. 22 volunteers worked in the parish hall of First Presbyterian Church putting together cartons of food ready for making Thanksgiving dinners for people in the community.

Sign Up for Girls Hoops
Registration for the Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich's 2002 Girls Intramural Basketball Program began on Nov. 1. Registration forms may be picked up at the Boys & Girls Clubhouse. Completed forms must be mailed directly to the attention of the Club's Gymnasium Program Director Michael Glancy, with check or money order, made payable to the Boys & Girls Club of OB-EN. Please note: Hand-delivered registration forms will not be accepted. This program, which is open to all girls in grades fourth through eighth, will be split into two divisions: fourth and fifth graders and sixth through eighth graders.
