How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Pleasant Valley Gallery & Gifts, 101 South Street, Oyster Bay.

Jack Hutchinson called to identify the mystery picture and said, "It's of striping the walls in the Oyster Bay train station. It's the old fireplace in the old station that hasn't been in sight for years." He's right, and if you happen to have a family photograph taken inside the station showing the fireplace, that would be greatly appreciated by the Friends of Locomotive 35, as they work on the restoration of the interior of the building.
Leven Ashby sent an e-mail identifying the picture in the Jan. 8 issue. "It's another interior picture of the Oyster Bay LIRR station house. The gentlemen is standing in what was the Men's restroom with the Ladies restroom through the door frame on the right. Happy New Year to all readers and my old classmate Tony Pilla of Anniston, Alabama," he wrote. He added a P.S. "By the way my name is spelled Leven Ashby." Our apologies for the error.
Billy Minicozzi also answered, with a guess. On a sport's note he mentioned the coach for the Jacksonville Panthers is going to be the coach for the Giants. "He will be a no nonsense coach," said Billy. He wished Bobby Plummer, the junior chief of the Bayville Fire Company a happy birthday.
