Locomotive 35 Capital Projects
The Friends of Locomotive #35 have several capital projects planned as they work on creating an Oyster Bay Railroad Museum. While they need funding from the public and private sectors, they have always been committed to raising funds on their own. Their newest venture will be a dinner dance on March 20 at the Atlantic Steamer Fire House.

Come Recognize the Stars
Celebrating a decade of memorable performances beginning with Anything Goes to last year's Camelot, East Woods School's Yellow Cote Players will present "Cavalcade of Fun" this coming weekend, Feb. 6 and 7. The school's adult theatre group, made up of present and past parents and teachers, took its name from the school's location on Yellow Cote Road in Oyster Bay. The now 40-member group was the brainchild of longtime Oyster Bay resident Robin Senior who remains a key member of the troupe.

OB-EN Soccer Club News
On Saturday, Jan. 17 the girls played their first soccer tournament in Franklin Square. They played seven exciting 10-minute games in the gymnasium of the local school. They won six games and lost one. Many goals were scored and spectacular saves made during the four-hour session.

US Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Classes
The US Coast Guard Auxiliary is offering a one-day safety boating course on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 8:15 a.m. It will be held at the Oyster Bay WaterFront Center (enter through the Theodore Roosevelt Park entrance at the end of Larrabee Avenue) on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 8:15 a.m.
