Belle Santora called to say the photo in the Jan. 29 issue, "is the new railroad station in Oyster Bay. I hope I'm right." She is. The photo was taken by Robert Fitzpatrick.

Billy Minicozzi said, "It's the Oyster Bay Train Station. It's a park bench." He said last week's snow storm was probably the biggest snow storm he ever saw. On a sports note, he said, "It's two or three more weeks until baseball spring training begins. I can't wait for that." He was sorry the Panthers lost in the Super Bowl, but said, "They had a very good year and two years ago they only had two wins. Making the Super Bowl was really good for them."

It was a great game, right down to the last play, as the Patriots made their kick for a three-pointer and won the game - snatched out of the tie with the Panthers. It was a great game - a fight to the finish.

Woodie Ryder e-mailed to ID the mystery picture, saying, "It's the Oyster Bay LIRR station waiting area." Right he is!

Virginia Warner too called to say it was the LIRR station.

A young lady called with a great guess about the Jan. 22nd mystery picture. "It is the Earle-Wightman house off South Street," said Rebecca O. of East Norwich. (We didn't quite catch her last name.) It is a great guess, in that it is a colonial-type entrance.

John DeJesus called saying, "It's Dr. Trousdale's house and office: it sure looks like it: I'm calling from Florida."

So here is another clue. The photograph was taken in East Norwich. We would tell you what it is, except that there are probably several people who know and we will give them a little more time to call. That's only fair, we think.
