Gwendolyn Rose Mackay died peacefully at the end of her 96th year at home in Locust Valley on Feb. 1, 2004. Wife of the late John William. Mother of Michael, Mary-Rose and Patrick. Grandmother of seven. Great-grandmother of six. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Funeral services at St. Gertrude's RC Church.
