The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary offers a one day boating safely course to be held at the Waterfront Center in Oyster Bay, (enter through Roosevelt Park.) The course will be given on Saturday, March 6, and starts at 8:15 a.m.

Topics include navigation, knot tying, navigational aids, radio communication and much more. Effective January 2004 New York State law requires all PWC operators to have completed an approved boating safety course.
