The Falcon Pride Booster Club has made a gift of a sound system for athletic events in the HS/MS gymnasium. The owners of General Contract, the company that previously donated a state-of-the-art audio system for the new Wrestling Room, has offered to supply and install at their cost an additonal system for the main gym. The board of the Falcon Pride Booster Club voted to pay General the cost ($6,000) to install the system. This gift will allow all functions and athletic events held in the gym to have state-of-the-art audio. This includes boys and girls basketball, boys wrestling and girls volleyball.
Special recognition and acknowledgement for the continued generosity of the Falcon Pride Organization is certainly appreciated. They have a positive impact on our facilities; and have enhanced the Locust Valley Sports programs for both competitors and spectators, according to the article in the Spotlight in the school's newsletter.
