East Norwich Volunteer Fire Celebrates 92 Years of Service
Fire Fraternity Induction of Officers, Award Ceremonies and Anniversary Event --
The East Norwich Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 celebrated their 92nd year of service to the community on Jan. 10 at the Milleridge Cottage. The firefighters provide service to the villages of East Norwich, Upper Brookville and part of Muttontown and Brookville. The company was founded in 1912.

Townsend Research Proves Exciting
20/20 Lecture Series Bring History Alive With Modern Technology --
Claire Bellerjeau was this year's opening speaker at the annual 20/20 Lecture series sponsored by the Friends of Raynham Hall Museum, The Oyster Bay Historical Society and Planting Fields. Her topic was her research on a jug in the Raynham Hall Museum collection dated 1795. As Ms. Bellerjeau shared her expertise on the porcelain pitcher, she made the members of the Townsend family come alive with her enthusiasm for her subject, the depth of her research and her professional Power Point presentation.

Katherine Cimonetti of Bayville Scores in 15 Kilometer Run
Nearly 800 runners and walkers successfully completed the 7th annual edition of the Lazer, Aptheker, Rosella & Yedid Kings Park 15 Kilometer Run on Sunday morning, March 21, and quite prominent among them was 28-year-old Bayville speedster Katherine Cimonetti, who took 2nd place honors among the women in the highly competitive 25-29 age group. Cimonetti crossed the finish line at the W.T. Rogers Middle School in Kings Park in 1 hour, 7 minutes, 11 seconds.
