Robert J. Gladd Sr., of East Norwich, died on March 27, 2004. He was an active member and ex-chief of the Atlantic Steamer Fire Co., Oyster Bay. Husband of Katherine. Father of Lisa Merbitz (Robert), Barbara Mulchinski (Andrew) and Robert Jr. Grandfather of Matthew, Alexander, Zachary and Kayla. Brother of Arthur (Joan), Rosemary Zarifis (George) and Edward (Lorraine). Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Mass at St. Dominic RC Chapel. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery.
