Steven Disbrow called to let us know he enjoys being called Dizzy Disbrow. "Dizzy is a family name, my father and uncle called each other Diz and my sisters too got that name," he said. Mr. Disbrow and his wife Eva Kipp Disbrow are alive and well and living in St. James. He said of his wife, "I love her. It started with me running around with her brother in school. We were inseparable. He went into the Navy but didn't come back. Teddy was on the USS Lexington and a kamikaze plane got him in an attack. Her other brother George Kipp is still in Oyster Bay. We've been married for 60 years," said Mr. Disbrow.
