Patricia Anne Flanagan-Ney, 39, of Bayville, died unexpectedly on March 31, 2004. She was an Executive Board member of the Locust Valley Middle School Parents Council and Bayville PTA since 1995. She was also a Girl Scout leader, class mother and member of the Combined Parents Council, board member of the Center for Parents and Children, among many other community service activities. Wife of David. Mother of Zachary and Amanda. Daughter of Martin Patrick and Valerie J. Flanagan. Sister of Marty and Valerie. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude RC Church. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Matthew Fetzer Foundation, Inc., PO Box 43, Bayville, NY 11709.

Eileen M. Gaffney (nee Wolfe), 82, formerly of Locust Valley, died suddenly on April 5, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband Terence F. by one week. Mother of Margaret M., Terence F. Jr. (Carolyn), Thomas E. (Gail), Joseph P. (Bernadette) and Eileen M. Appel (Phillip). Sister of Jack (Florence), Margaret Mary, Edward (Barbara), Thomas (Ursula) and Joseph (Fran). Grandmother of Michael, Caitlin, T.J., Sarah, Claire, Brian, Kevin and Kathleen. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Mass at St. Gertrude's RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Joseph's College, Brooklyn, NY, or St. Gertrude's Food Pantry. A Memorial Mass is planned for the late Terence and Eileen on May 1 at St. Gertrude's RC Church at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.

John T. Caramico died on April 12, 2004. He was an honorary member of the Atlantic Steamer Fire Co. and the Oyster Bay Fireman's Benevolent Association. Husband of Lisa. Father of Annalisa and Alexa. Son of Ruth and the late Michael. Brother of Ann Cramer, Michael, Joseph, Mary, Richard and Rose. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Interment Brookville Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Atlantic Steamer Fire Company or the Italian American Citizens Club.
