Trisha Presta said of the mystery picture in the April 22 issue of the Enterprise-Pilot, "It's East Main Street, looking at the Attic Door." That is exactly what the photograph taken by Robert Fitzpatrick shows.

Beatrice Cardinale said, "You didn't stump me this week, it's East Main Street and White's Street is there and the building just on the other side is the senior center. In 1939 and 1940 it was Mr. Bennett's garage and gas station. There were a couple of gas pumps on the sidewalk. The Presbyterian church is on the hill across East Main Street. I went to Oyster Bay High School and walked to Snouder's Drug Store for ice cream cones at lunch, so I walked down West Main Street regularly. Pick a hard one next time."

The phone rang and a voice said, "This is Belle Santoro (a very young 93). I know the picture is the Attic Door and the Weintraub & Weintraub CPA firm's building, and I can see the Doubleday Babcock Senior Center across the street. My brother's office was where Obbies Juice and Java was located, (opposite the Attic Door). My brother was in the moving business and that was his office and I used to answer the phone for him. Then the store became Chez Mar-Lyn hair salon over the years."

Billy Minicozzi too knew the location of the photo, but as a Bayville fireman, he recognized the spot as being opposite the Atlantic Steamer fire house.
