Charles Reickert of the IGA/Food Basket is again sponsoring this year's 5K Run/Walk event being held to benefit Breast Cancer at the Women's Center at Huntington Hospital. This event will take place on May 15 at 8:30 a.m. starting at West Harbor Beach. The fee for registration prior to May 10 is $15. Fee on the date of race is $18.

Applications are available at the Village Hall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can also visit the village website on-line at www.bayvillevillagehall.com to get an application. Participants are urged to pick up the application as soon as possible.

Runners and walkers anxiously anticipate this popular event because it is perhaps one of the easiest courses to run or walk and, also, because annually it benefits a good charitable cause or organization.
