George Washington Letter Unveiled
Raynham Hall Museum is reaching up into the heady stratosphere of being a first class museum. Board President Frances Mortati described the recent discovery of an original George Washington letter in the collection as very exciting. "The museum is going to get more prominence, especially when we let the Library of Congress know of the find because they have two letters that were written - all as a part of a series as is this one. They are all relevant to getting more troops during the Revolutionary War," said Ms. Mortati.

East Norwich Juniors Help Visitor
East Norwich Juniors extended Oyster Bay hospitality to young people from the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club as they again participated in the annual outing at the home of Marge and Fritz Coudert. Their advisor, Jerry Presta, and the Junior Firefighters were there as the day began, with their new pumper truck, #512, starting the fun. It left after the opening ceremony and the "Gator" stayed for the rest of the day as the Juniors helped keep the kids cool with a gentle spray.

Oyster Bay-East Norwich Soccer Club News
The Oyster Bay-East Norwich fall soccer season is under way for our 13 travel teams. Since the spring season ended, teams worked on their skills over the summer. Teams honed their skills at weekly camps sponsored by the club. The following are our travel teams representing our town throughout Long Island and New York State.
