The Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island held its 17th annual golf tournament on Monday, Aug. 30. The event took place at the beautiful Mill River Club in Upper Brookville. Robert A. Karson, US Trust Company, chair of the event, reported that over $100,000 was raised.
The Foundation is a nationally recognized nonprofit, charitable organization that has provided a comprehensive array of services to Long Islanders living with epilepsy since 1953. Through innovative programs and services, the Foundation reaches out each year to thousands of individuals with epilepsy helping them to cope, to realize their full potential and to enhance their sense of self-esteem and self-worth.
