The Atlantic Steamer Fire Company #1 will be hosting a Night of Comedy on Saturday, Oct. 30 as a fundraiser for their 2nd Assistant Chief James Ceglia. Mr. Ceglia was recently reactivated as a member of a United State Army Reserve Unit. He is already away in training and is being deployed to Iraq for duty in the near future.

"The Atlantic Steamer Fire Company is holding this event because Mr. Ceglia is self-employed and his wife and children are in need of financial assistance. We all know the costs of running a home, whether or not we have children, and being without a regular income makes it so much more difficult if not totally impossible," said Bob Walles, chairman of the event.

They would appreciate any donations you can make to help with the raffle prizes. The more raffle prizes they have the more money they will be able to raise for James and his family.

It is really a wonderful and kind thing the fire company is doing for the family of someone going to serve in Iraq.

We hope we will see you there, at the firehouse on East Main Street at 7 p.m.
