Billy Minicozzi identified the Oct. 21 mystery picture location as, "A man feeding seagulls at the Oyster Bay Marina." He added on a sports note: "There is no joy in Yankee Land and the Bronx as the Yankees lost to the Red Sox. Now Boston is in Seventh Heaven. The Red Sox won the World Series pennant in 1918. They tried again in 1986 but the Mets beat them. I'd like to see the Boston Red Sox win the World Series."
This lovely photograph was taken by Robert Fitzpatrick of East Norwich.
Former Oyster Bay resident Ralph Ceglia now of Calabasas, California e-mailed the answer to the Oct. 14 mystery picture as: "The picture is of the docks at Roosevelt Park. If you are looking at the dock it is the one on the right side (of the marina). I spent many years fishing that spot."
That lovely photograph too, was taken by Robert Fitzpatrick of East Norwich.
