How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Pleasant Valley Gallery & Gifts, 101 South Street, Oyster Bay.

Charleen Niznik called to identify the photograph in the Nov. 18 issue of the Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot. "It's the Derby-Hall Bandstand across from Town Hall West and the Oyster Bay Post Office."

Tricia Presta, the East Norwich Juniors secretary called to identify the mystery picture. "It is by the gazebo by town hall and the post office. I always go there," she said. Tricia is in the ninth grade and is enjoying reading Romeo and Juliet in her English class. "It's cool. I didn't expect it to be that good!"

Billy Minicozzi said, "The mystery picture is a flower bed by the gazebo in Oyster Bay right by the post office and town hall. Right down the road is the Bonanza stand which has been around about 100 years." He said he hoped the Mets and Yankees can play during the World Series.

"The mystery picture is the Oyster Bay bandstand, between the town hall and the post office, said Mary Lou Cuccu.

Evan Schreiber of Oyster Bay said, the mystery picture is "The little gazebo area in between Café Al Dente and the town hall and post office. It's where the cannons are. It's a lovely area." On a sports note he said, "Let's hope that the hockey season comes back to life and let's hope the New York Knicks are in their playoff."

There were two e-mail answers from last week that need to be acknowledged. Levan Ashby said, "It looks like the entryway to what I remember calling Oak Beach in Bayville."

Woody Ryder guessed: "It looks like the entrance to the beach just after you cross over the LIRR tracks."

Thank you all for your interest and your answers!
