How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Pleasant Valley Gallery & Gifts, 101 South Street, Oyster Bay.

The photograph taken by Robert Fitzpatrick shown in the Nov. 25 issue of the Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot is still a mystery!
Billy Minicozzi did make a great guess. He said it was a tractor on a farm in Oyster Bay Cove or Upper Brookville. He wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and is hoping for a snowy-white Christmas. On a sports note he said, Al Leiter and the Mets might be going in different directions. He might become a Yankee and end up in the Bronx.
Belle Santora of Locust Valley and formerly of Oyster Bay answered the mystery picture from Nov. 18, saying, "It's the bandstand in Oyster Bay between the post office and town hall," which is absolutely correct. That location is the site of this week's Holidays in Oyster Bay celebration, the Derby-Hall Bandstand in Townsend Park.
An e-mail from Levan Ashby said, "I believe the mystery picture was taken in the area by the Post Office. It appears there are cannons in the background and that's the only place I can remember cannons." That is correct!
