Anthony D. "Tony" Kinta, 70, lifelong resident of Bayville, died on May 1, 2006. He was a member of the Bayville Fire Company for 23 years. Husband of Carole. Father of John (Ronni) and Kathryn Jaget (Jim). Papa of Jaime, Carly, John, Matthew, Alice and Brett. Son of Catherine and the late Damianos. Brother of the late Leo. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral service at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Resurrection, Brookville. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Don Monti Cancer Center at North Shore University Hospital, 101 St. Andrews Ln., Glen Cove, NY 11542. Lawrence J. Sperandei, 92, lifelong resident of Bayville, died on May 2, 2006. Husband of Sarah. Also survived by relatives and friends. He was a member of Bayville American Legion - Robert H. Spittle Post 1285, a charter member of Bayville-Centre Island Rotary Club, a member of the Manhasset Bay Power Squadron and a board member of the Bayville Free Library for many years. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude RC Church. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Bayville Free Library, School St., Bayville, NY 11709.
