Jack Hutchinson said the Nov. 23 mystery photo was taken from the Jakobson Shipyard, with the Nantucket to the left and the boat ramps on the right. He is correct!
Billy Minicozzi said it was Roosevelt Beach, which is of course the general area. He said on a sports note: the Giants lost 24 to 21 in the National League game. "They blew it in the last quarter. So they may not go to the playoffs." To excuse them he added it was "On a very warm day."
We received an email answer too. Leven Ashby responded on Nov. 17, to the Internet mystery picture that is always one week delayed. Leven said, "If my memory serves me correctly, I remember when that building on Maxwell Avenue was an Automobile Dealership. I recall that the new model was displayed in a storefront style, so you could walk by and look in from the sidewalk. If I have it wrong, hopefully someone will correct me."
It was a very interesting answer. We had to look up the photograph in the Nov. 9 issue where there was a picture of the courtyard of Chelsea Mansion. Actually the top of the building has dormer windows like the ones the Goodyear Building on Berry Hill Road, which we think is where Leven locates the photo.
